Three laps of the local shopping centre (in the middle of the day mind you), ½ hour looking for parking in your more specialised shopping epicentre, does not a Happy Christmas Spirit Make!!!!!

Trolleys rolled over your toes, prams hitting your ankles leaving permanent indentations, Kids Screaming andhollering for the newest and best new ‘IT’ Toy, Mums having mini-strokes dreaming about when school goes back and when they can get there white knuckled hands on an uber large cup of coffee or bucket of plonk…  Yes TIS THE SEASON…

Oh Come all Ye JOYFUL … 

If you have been super efficient and strict with yourself you will be sitting at home relaxing sipping a drink thinking about those poor negligent souls putting there sanity and bodies on the line for the sake of Santa’s looming visit to suburbia.

For everyone else it is RUSH HOUR …

so to speak…. I cant laugh as I am one of those silly folk that does my last minute shopping when the shops decide to throw open their doors at indecent hours to the hoards of crazy families running here there and everywhere, fighting over toys, standing in the middle of isles to-ing and fro-ing about what to buy Aunty Maude, Dad (who is always the hardest to buy for) and of course the Husband that of course has it all!!!!!

I like the idea of a battle plan.

 You write a list of what you’re after, where to get it, how much it costs (because of course you have done your homework, you also want Santa to leave you a lil something special).  However, this plan never sticks, as soon as you stalk through those double auto doors you are hit in the face with craziness a-buzz, Music, smells, noises that you cannot even identify and everything goes out the window… Turmoil is thrust upon you.

You seem to walk around idly for hours on end indecisive, irritated, hungry and exhausted from all the fuss. And I vow you don’t ever come out with what you went in for, NOT ONE THING!!!!

A revelation struck me just yesterday (yes I may be a little slow at times to pick up on the idyllic way to do things) I enjoy the chaos (well more so the adrenaline of the last minute gift buying hunt).   However, in aide of those who have left their gift hunting to the very last hour. I have written a list for you, a comprehensive, affordable (YES THAT WORD IS WONDERFUL ISNT IT) and joy bringing list that has all your ends tied in a bow and wrapped under the tree.
