Yes it's here...Summer at last!We have waited long enough to finally strip away those winter layers. We positively shivered through Christmas and wrapped up well for New Years Eve...but now we are eventually remembering why we all choose to live in this wonderful country! So how to look good and what to wear for the next coming months? I have put together a few suggestions that may get you through to Autumn.
Nudes are Back
Lace Trim Sheer Wrap Crip Linen Draw String Pants This is a versatile look with a Ralph Lauren feel. The pants are from David Lawrance summer collection. The wrap top is flattering on most figures as the ruffles help those who may not be quite so well endowed! The top is also on the reduced rack at Laura Ashley. Style Tip: Invest in some skin tone boy-leg briefs. Most white pants can be a little ?see through? and we don?t always feel like wearing G-strings.
Colours still Strong
High Waisted 60'S Skirt SUB SILKY TIE SHIRT Crisp Linen Blazer The beauty about colour blocking is that everything doesn?t have to match. You can experiment to your hearts content. The Portmans red skirts sits beautifully across the hips, and can camoflage and problem thighs! The FCUK shirt, can be worn open or tied, and the Witchery Blazer is a staple for this seaon. Style Tip: A must have for this season and beyond is the white or cream blazer. Team it with anything from dresses to shorts, it completes the outfit perfectly.
Vintage isn't getting any younger!
Taffeta tie front dress Asymmetrical Trilby Polly Plaited Sandal
The Vintage look is pretty and feminine, and very easy to wear. Accessories ?maketh the women? and this little wicker handbag from Laura Ashley gives this out fit a finishing touch. Style Tip: Much of this seasons fabrics are dry clean only, so air your dresses on a hanger in the bathroom. The steam acts like an iron and refreshes the clothes beautifully. If you do get a stain on the fabric attend to it immediately dont leave it for the dry cleaner the next day. There are some great stain removers on the market now like ?stain goes? but always remember to read the manufacturers instructions!
The beauty about all these pieces is that they mix and match perfectly, so you are not restricted to one style For example:
or
Or even
The possibilities are endless. This should help you transcend a season and until the leaves start falling and the days start closing in, you should feel confident in embracing a few different styles and outfits. Happy Shopping Gwen
